To accommodate more lift I'm looking at set of beehive springs, and modified retainers from these guys. I'm looking at getting the thrust plate, lifter guides, and guide plate used off EBAY. ![]() And that should be all the mods required to drop OEM roller lifters in it. The three studs in the lifter valley for the guide retainer plate, and two holes for the cam thrust plate need to be drilled and tapped. The block is a HYD Flat tappet setup but from what I've researched it can run a Roller setup. Picked up an OE distributor with a Petronix electronic ignition setup already installed from a swap meet. I've got a new HV oil pump, PU tube and screen, timing cover, and some gaskets. So far I scooped up some "062" Vortec heads and matching Edelbrock intake for a steal off CL. Was going to drop the 283 on the left in but opted for displacement. So as the title states I'm building a 350 out of a 89 P/U.
